This is a neat, geometrically decorated fluid vessel from the Tutsi tribe of Rwanda.  Small size.  Made from a gourd which has been constructed with ligatures during the growing process to created the spout.  Then painstakingly decorated with black ink patterns.  Has a nicely developed, used patina..  A neat example.   In good condition with wear commensurate with tribal use. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height approx 20cm
