This is a sculptural altar figure from Senoufo people of the Ivory Coast, west Africa. The
form is finely and characteristically carved. Depicts a female figure with sculptural form and large crested hairstyle, wearing arm bands.. The patina is well developed. It Is in good condition, with wear commensurate with tribal use. Unstable without base. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. H approx 20cm
