A SCULPTURAL ALTAR FIGURE, BAMBARA TRIBE , MALI W.AFRICA ( No 3052)

This is a sculptural altar figure from Bambara  people of the Mali , west Africa.  The
form is finely and characteristically carved.  Depicts a female figure with a large, created hairstyle.  The patina is a natural wood which is nicely worn.  A nicely developed patina, sculptural form, and is in good condition. Wear is commensurate with tribal use. In good condition.  Base included.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. H approx 24cm
