A medium section of an old raffia skirt cloth from the Kuba people of the Congo, Central Africa. A painstaking palm frond woven fabric, hand stitched with abstract shapes appliquéd to create a unique design.  Each raffia skirt is a prized asset.  It has been mounted professionally on a stretcher frame.  In good condition with wear and mild discolouration . We guarantee this item has been tribally used . Height approx 60 x 30cm
