A MINIATURE BIRD MASK, MOSSI TRIBE BURKINA FASO ( No 2877 )

This is a wonderful passport mask from the Mossi tribe of Burkina Faso.  Used as a template to create a large size mask.  Has striking form depicting an animal with a crest from the top of its head.  A nicely used patina, with remnants of natural pigment in graphic patterns.  In good condition., with wear,  custom mounted. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height of mask only approx 14cm
