This is a medium sized honey pot from the Tutsi tribe of Rwanda. Simple sleek form with artful metal repairs and a satin patina.  Made of a light honey coloured African hardwood, with a solid weight and sheen.   Used to contain food stuffs, including honey. In good condition. Has wear commensurate with tribal use. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height approx 40cm
