A MEDIUM SIZED RADIANT HONEY POT FROM TUTSI TRIBE OF RWANDA E. AFRICA ( No 4052 )

This is a medium sized honey pot from the Tutsi tribe of Rwanda. Simple form with artful indigenous metal repairs.  Has a nicely used satin patina that is radiant.  Made of a reddish  honey coloured African hardwood, with a good weight and a nice sheen.   Used to contain food stuffs, including honey. In good condition. Has wear commensurate with tribal use. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height approx 40cm
