This is a superb, supremely tall doll from the Mossi people of Burkina Faso. The form is highly stylised with a tight fitting leather sheath, hand stitched. Rare to find this degree of fineness and this height of doll. The patina is beautiful. It is well developed with a well used, nice glossy sheen. This is a phenomenal piece. In good condition with wear commensurate with tribal use. We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. H approx 50cm
