This is a deliciously patinated and large three legged headrest from the Rendille people of kenya, East Africa.  A abstract head of cattle.  The form follows the natural shape of the branch.   Made from a very attractive dark chocolate African hardwood.  The patina is exquisitely tactile, velvety all over.  In good condition with wear commensurate with tribal use.  Ex UK collection .We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. w approx 30cm
