*A LARGE METAL ANKLET FROM THE HIMBA TRIBE OF NAMIBIA SW AFRICA (No 4708)

A large, sculptural and traditional Himba
anklet,  from Namibia, SW Africa. Made of
leather, recycled metal beads, each one hand beaten into shape. The patina has
remnants of their characteristic red pigment.
In sound condition with some disconnectied lines of metal beads.  We guarantee that this
item has been tribally used.  Height approx 20cm
