A LARGE IMPOSING BLUE PIGMENT POWER FIGURE, EWE TRIBE OF GHANA ( No 4556)

This is a large and imposing Ewe tribe fetish figure from Ghana.  A tall wooden figure with an interesting configuration of lots of bottles encircling the body.  An iron axe centres the charge. Has remnants of a blue pigment patina, particularly at the head.  In good condition, with wear.  We guarantee this item has been tribally used.  Height approx 40cm
