A SMALL PAINTED WOOD SHIELD FROM KIKUYU TRIBE EAST AFRICA ( No 4253

This is a neat, painted parrying shield from the Kikuyu people of East Africa.  Dynamic woven patterns adorn the front.  Has a nice softly worn patina.  Made from a solid African hardwood.. In good condition, with wear.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Width approx 35cm
