A really pretty Ndop strip weave fabric fragment from Cameroon, West Africa.  Has a particularly pretty and spacial design with  white and deep denim blue.  Women artisans stitch in the geometrical resist design in raphia thread, which is dyed with indigo. The geometric shapes are all symbolic.  In solid condition with wear.  Height  approx 40 x 30
