A FIGURATIVE FANTE TRIBE MESSANGER STAFF FROM GHANA ( No 2831 )

A charming long messangers staff from the Fante tribe of Ghana, west Africa.  Has a head at the top balancing a traditional stool.   The shaft has a lightning bolt design with studs on each point.  The patina is well developed, with a soft and darkened patina.  In good condition, with wear.  We guarantee this item has been tribally used.  Height approx 90cm
