AN ADORABLE FIGURATIVE LID FROM THE YORUBA TRIBE NIGERIA ( No 4537)

This is a rare figurative lid from the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria, west africa.  Nice engraved figure holding traditional items with arms outstretched like Jesus.  The patina has remnants of polychrome paint.  The patina has has darkened with handling.  In good condition with wear. Stand not custom made.  We guarantee this item has been tribally used .width approx 15 cm.
