A CHEQUERED INDIGO WOMANS CLOTH, MOSSI TRIBE BURKINA FASO ( No 2705 )

This is an very bold and striking woman’s cloth from Burkina Faso.  Has a chequered, resist dye patterns throughout which is unusual to find.  A deep blue colour.  Made of pure cotton, hand woven on a portable loom, then hand stitched together.  A strip weave cloth, In good condition with wear.   Height approx 130 x 100cm
