A CHARMING VENAVI TWIN DOLL, EWE TRIBE OF GHANA W.AFRICA ( No 2957 )

This is a charming twin venavi doll from the Ewe tribe of Ghana, West Africa.  Features a handsome, finely carved face with large eyes, darkened with oiling, feeding and washing.  The features are slightly asymmetrical.  A tactile, smooth patina on the face.  The body was probably covered by cotton clothe.  In good condition, with wear.  We guarantee that this item has been tribally used. Height approx 15cm
