A BLACK + WHITE ANIMAL MASK FROM GHANA W.AFRICA ( No 2945 )

This is a graphic buffalo mask from the Ghana, West Africa.  Chunky Cubist form with flat planes and geometric features.  Made from a heavy and dense African hardwood.  A nicely developed patina with remnants of pigment.  In good collectable condition with wear. We guarantee this item has been tribally used. Height of mask approx  45 cm.
