This is a striking, well patinated and very large kola nut container from the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria, West Africa. Has fine form which is highly engraved with geometric patterns that have been smoothed down over time with handling. The patina is very well developed with a subtle sheen . Super touchably smooth. In good condition, with wear. Width approx 45 cm
